Caribe Shuttle Launches Transportation to Arenal / La Fortuna:

Shared-Ride Transportation to/from Arenal/Fortuna Area - This week Caribe Shuttle added Arenal/La Fortuna as the newest destination in their Caribbean transportation network. Now Caribe Shuttle offers door-to-door transportation between Arenal and four other Costa Rica destinations, including Puerto Viejo, San Jose, Tortuguero and Monteverde.

Why new transportation service to Arenal?

 

Why is the Arenal area so important? Whitesides explains, "Without Arenal, it was like we were trying to move forward with a missing leg. The Arenal/Fortuna area is not only famous for the iconic Arenal Volcano, Lake Arenal and the abundant opportunities for nature  lovers. The area is also renowned as a Mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. Adrenaline junkies can stay entertained for a weeks with activities like whitewater rafting, mountain biking, canyoneering, wind surfing, kite boarding, stand up paddling, rappelling, zip lining, horse riding, mountain hiking, and even spelunking. And the hot springs are a big draw. There are several natural volcanic thermal spas, something for every budget. Simply put, Arenal is one of the most important destinations in Costa Rica. Our clients want to get there, and now we can serve their needs."

What is the Best Way To Get to Bocas del Toro?

After several years of hearing this question from our clients, Caribe Shuttle CREATED the best answer.

 

Announcing a NEW transportation service (shuttle) from San Jose to Bocas del Toro Panama.

 
 

Starting today, December 15, 2013, the best way to get to Bocas del Toro in Panama is to let Caribe Shuttle do all the work. Now clients don’t need to think at all. They can sit back, no stress, and enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and TASTES (I’ll explain below) along the way. And it is very affordable.

 

 Caribe Shuttle CEO, Carlton Whitesides, explains:

  “We pick up passengers right at their hotels around San Jose. We drive down the Caribbean slope through the largest national park in Costa Rica to a relaxing boutique beach resort on the Caribbean coast where we feed them LUNCH (included). Passengers have a variety of choices from a tasty menu of freshly prepared and served meals.

 

 

Then we go on to the border where our guide helps clients through the bureaucracy and onto our van waiting on the Panama side. We drive clients to the marina and put them on a boat for a beautiful half-hour ride to the islands, right to the main town of Bocas del Toro. Awaiting at the dock, our help desk is there to meet passengers and help arrange anything guests might need in the archipelago.

How do You get back to San Jose? The Bocas -San Jose shuttle! Same great service and lunch, but in reverse.

 

 Although this service to/from San Jose is new, Caribe Shuttle has extensive experience with cross-border transportation to/from Bocas. Almost everyday for five years Caribe Shuttle delivered satisfied customers between Costa Rica’s Southern Caribbean region and Panama’s Bocas del Toro. There is no one with more experience and  more satisfied customers than Caribe Shuttle. This new route from/to San Jose has been in the plans for several years, and Caribe Shuttle is excited to launch this much needed service now.

 

 A highlight of the trip a leisurely break and lunch at Banana Azul Beach Club at Hotel Banana Azul in Puerto Viejo. Included in the price, passengers can enjoy a good lunch from a special menu, stretch their legs, take a swim, or relax on a beach lounge or by the pool. This lunch break is a great solution for what to do with Bocas passengers while drivers drop Puerto Viejo passengers at their hotels and pick up new Bocas passengers. As a result, what would be dead time for some clients turns into a relaxing time at the beach.  The layover is about one and a half hours. Optional lockers, towels, and boogie rentals are available for a small additional fee.  Showers and use of pool is free to use ( min 16yrs)
